National CBD Day celebrated in Glasgow and all around the world

National CBD Day? Our friends in the U.S. have a day for everything but that doesn’t mean that those of us in the U.K. can’t join in the fun. This weekend in Glasgow, the city's first CBD-infused brunch menu will be launched on August 8th in honour of National CBD Day.

Juicy, a café devoted to healthy superfoods, will debut its brand new brunch menu serving CBD-infused chai lattes, CBD smoothies, CBD matcha protein balls, and even CBD-infused shots in collaboration with Nutrivive, their new CBD partner. Customers will get a chance to sample these yummy CBD treats on Sunday as part of a limited-edition menu at their Byres Road location.

Nutrivive, a CBD brand founded in the midst of the worst global health scare in living memory, offers a wide range of CBD-infused products that are safe, legal, and third-party tested for purity. Customers can buy drops, a sports muscle balm, and a CBD-infused moisturising line directly from the company's website.

Fallon Carberry, Juicy founder, commented on the launch of Juicy’s new CBD menu:

“Our CBD-infused lattes are already a hit, but in true Juicy fashion, we decided to take it a step further and include CBD in our entire brunch menu, which we know our customers will enjoy. We already have CBD-infused cold-pressed juices which are some of our bestsellers so we know our customers want more. We want to have some fun with CBD and use it in matcha puddings, acai bowls, and smoothies, which we believe is something that has never been tried in Glasgow.”

When did National CBD Day begin?

The first-ever National CBD Day happened in 2018, so it’s a relatively new holiday. However, with the whole world under CBD’s spell, we believe it’s going to become extremely popular all over the world.

This isn’t the only cannabis-related celebration throughout the year. Others include April 20 (also known as 4/20 Day) and July 10 (National Cannabis Oil Day). 4:20 pm is known throughout the world as the time of day when it’s acceptable to smoke a joint. Strangely enough, this time coincides with high school finishing for the day.

National CBD Day was started by CBDmd. This company is a North Carolina-based CBD manufacturer. In 2017, they suggested the creation of this brand new holiday to the National Day Calendar organisation. By August 2018, National CBD Day was up and running, ready to celebrate for CBD enthusiasts all around the world.
