One of the most hotly anticipated cannabis events of the year has been cancelled today.
Spannabis, the largest cannabis event in Europe was forced to postpone its’ annual festival following today’s announcement by the Catalan government.
Catalonian president Quim Torra declared that all events where attendance is expected to be greater than 1,000 are to be cancelled with immediate effect.
In a post to Instagram, Spannabis organisers announced the postponement while reassuring visitors that their ticket will be valid for the next alternative date.
Spannabis has been running annually since 2012 yet its postponement was expected given the recent outbreak of the COVID-19 across Europe and is not the first cannabis event to be cancelled.
