John Legend will lend his star-credibility to Plus Products Inc. to launch their new line of CBD products.
Up til now, the San-Mateo based company has specialised in THC rich edibles. But from Tuesday onwards, Plus Products Inc will sell a range of gummies that are 0% THC.
The company founded by Jake Heimark and Justin Gwin are dedicated to maintaining an altogether natural company that even their grandmas could be proud of. For John Legend, giving his support to the company wasn’t an overnight decision.
“I have been a believer in the benefits of CBD for some time,” the Academy Award winner said. “I was drawn to the Plus team because they're an innovative, family-run company, and they use science to deliver a consistent, high-quality product. I appreciate that they're committed to setting a high standard within an industry that has to date been fairly unregulated.”
He now joins a long line of celebrities that include Jay-Z, Whoopi Goldberg, Mark Wahlberg, Diddy and many others who have put their money where their mouth is when it comes to CBD.
Transitioning from THC-based edibles to purely CBD will be tricky, but Plus Products are hoping their new products will raise their profile nationwide.
